OUR DIY BUILT-INS!

Our DIY built ins are done!

First, we used cabinets from @loweshomeimprovement for the base.

Added a built in bench and I grabbed a cushion from Amazon to fill up the rest of the wall space.

We put up vertical shiplap board on the wall and I feel like it makes the ceilings feel even higher. 😍

We chose to use paint in the color Sea Salt from @sherwinwilliams and I love the color so much!

I sanded and painted for what feels like 8 years 😆 but I love how it turned out so much.

Then we added shelves out of pipe and stained pine.

We chose to use some outdoor lights as sconces and used the magic light trick from @nestingwithgrace so we are using puck lights instead of wiring them in! *Here is the link to my highlight on instagram about the light trick*

Gold hardware on the cabinets. TV hung. And I grabbed some stuff we had on hand to style the shelves for now.

It was our biggest project by far that we have done on our own and we for sure saved a ton of money vs hiring it out. It makes such a big difference in the room!!
